Since you are able to practice regualrly try this simple exercise. Once in the morning and once in the evening.
Play a chromatic scale from C up to c (C below the treble clef to C second space treble clef). Then C# to c#, D to d, etc. Continue going up as high as you can without hurting yourself. What this will do is help to recondition your lips to fit the new mouthpiece. You should be back to normal in 4 days or less. I use this exercise on my students when they have their braces taken off.
Don't go back and forth between your new piece and three 3B.
