I did make an F ext for my Paxman 13 (which is a single Bb with an ascending valve and A+ valve). It was not a completely simple matter - as HGuru notes I had to find a way of configuring the extra loop so it would fit sensibly with the rest of the horn; despite my best efforts my teacher says it looks a bit silly... Also, I had to source (from Paxmans) some 12mm bore tube for the loop, and for the tuning slide I built into it, and a valve to allow me to switch between F extension and A+ stopping valve without having to remove the extension.

I'm not quite sure why you would not be able to fit an F ext on an A+ valve sited before the valves - that's where it is on my horn and it works ok with my F ext plugged into it.

In fact, the video shows two, wrapped in different ways, on two different horns. The one he used in the performance is a very strange shape indeed (baffling even) but it worked ok for him...
