Subject: Do I really want an F extension?
I am playing a Paxman 40 and I don't like the intonation of my notes on the lower treble clef. I have tried them on the f-alto and the Bb horn. I was thinking of getting an F extension and then they would be just like playing them on the F horn, right? But then I thought what about making an Ab extension or a Db extension - those are supposed to be pretty good keys for the horn to sound.Any one have ideas, expereience,or resources to direct me to?
