Subject: House/flat wanted to rent in or around London
As I write it is 3:30 am and I am having to suffer extremely loud dance music from the flat beneath me yet again. I have complained to these neighbours on untold occasions with little or no resolution. I cannot bring myself to go down again tonight only to be told by a stoned Italian that I am being unreasonable and that it is a "Saturday night!"
Tonight is by no means unique: I have to suffer the same repetitive bass lines at extreme volume all week long until midnight and then well into the early hours over the weekends.
I have tried every legal recourse available with no luck and now, dear readers, I am giving in.
With this in mind, if you, or anyone you know, has a decent, spacious, unfurnished place they would like to rent to a responsible person and his cat then please, for the love of God, get in touch.
I could give notice and be out of my present flat with four to six weeks notice.
Alternatively, if anyone has Eastern European gangster connections I would be very happy to hire their services (their knives need not be sharp or their methods clean).
