Creating NEW threads
Go
to the required forum and click on the "Post Message" button. Fill in
all the details and your message and then hit the "Post Message"
button at the bottom of the screen. Voila!! Your message has been posted!
Why didn't my message show up?
Normally
after posting your message, you should be taken back to the discussion list. If
this does not happen, the most likely cause of this is your browser - it does
not support "refresh" commands.
If you see the discussion
list and your posted message is not there, just hit the "Reload" (also
known as "Refresh"). Your message did not show up as your browser
pulled the page out from your machine's cache and not the server. Don't worry
though - there is nothing wrong with your browser - the cache is feature that
works in your favour most of the times!
Replying to a message
First
goto the actual message you want to reply to. If you want to post a message to
this discussion group, click on the "Post Follow-up" button and you
will see a screen that allows you to enter your details and message.
For
those who intend to reply to a message privately (ie. not through this
discussion group), click on the email address in the header section of a
message. Note that there may be times when an email is not shown: if it was
invalid or the person did not supply it.
