Post subject:  How to Play the Opening of Mahler 1

This is probably the best example on record of how to play the opening horn duet in Mahler 1

Recorded in 1974 by the LSO with James Levine conducting very slowly the horns are quiet, make it sound easy and play as a perfect pair of horns

The 1st Horn was the 28 year old Jeff Bryant and the 2nd horn was the 32 year old Tony Chidell
