The BBC sound engineers didn't do the horn section any favours. :roll:
Anybody know who was playing 1st and 3rd horns :?:

Wot, 6 hours later and no replies? :o
let me guess, er, no, better still, refer to hornplayer.net :geek:
http://www.hornplayer.net/sections/s3743.html :ugeek:

Yes, as I thought:
* Vacancy, - Principal
* Richard Bissill, - Principal (Yamaha 668 MK2)
* Gareth Mollison, - 2nd (Yamaha 668 MK2)
* Vacancy, - 3rd
* Martin Hobbs, - 4th (Yamaha 668 MK2)

The players were
1) Richard Bissill and
3) Vacancy
;)

I think I'll post my query on the Yahoo horn board... at least people look at that one a bit more often than every 48 hours. :roll:

Who cares? ;)
Does anybody give a t###? :roll:
I certainly don't, and judging by the response by the board members, neither does anybody else. :lol:
Duff conductor, badly recorded orchestra, horns struggling to be heard at their best.
Just forget the whole thing and 'move on' , there's a good chap. :evil:

Ok, OK , OK, I get your point. Just curious that's all. :roll:
I'll be off then, to spend my time doing more meaningful things.
