One of the major problems facing a student, is to bring all those hours of practice to a satisfying conclusion. Many times the person taking an exam or audition will have prepared their pieces to a high standard but then are faced with performing, in a stressful environment, with an accompanist who they may have only had a run through with once or twice.

To try and alleviate this problem, Simon and Abigail are offering a concentrated preparation time to all brass instrument players. Using Simon's experience as an highly experienced player, teacher and performance coach allied to Abigail's remarkable accompanying skills and consumate musicianship, we aim to bring the whole preparation process into two or three structured sessions.

These will cover:
Turning your performance into a meaningful and impressive experience.
Dealing with performance anxiety.
Gaining a thorough understanding of how the accompaniment enhances your playing.
Presentation of and the musical background to the music you are playing.
How to communicate non-verbally,
and most important of all, ensuring you do full justice to the music and your musicianship.

Remember we are performing musicians and through many years of recital playing we have evolved a system for performance that we know works! please see http://www.brassmaster.org for further details. Thank you Simon

Are you sure?
'Brassmaster' can only mean 'master of brass instruments' (is that an ego trip or what?)
but 'seemless' might be interpreted 'seems less' or 'seam less', i.e. smooth, with no gaps in continuity.
If the latter, in the context of 'preparation time' it probably means doing a warm up with no breaks or gaps in it.
is that correct, 'brassmaster'?
if so, what is it's purpose?

Hi all,
Thank you for pointing out my typographical error. Seamless is how it should read. As for Ego, What me?!!

Take care Simon

Have now changed it to concentrated. Thank you for the feedback.
