John Packer Ltd are pleased to offer for sale a Pro level hand made Paxman 25L Bb/F Fixed bell double French Horn in yellow lacquer for £4,850 including a hard case. The model 25 has been the mainstay of the Paxman range for many years and is used by many top professional players all around the world. This instrument was hand built in October 1990 and is in a good condition although there is some wear to the lacquer in the usual places. Cord lever action on 1,2 & 3 valves give a smooth silent action and the 4th lever is mechanical which is easily reversed for players who prefer an instrument standing in Bb. This instrument has been further enhanced by the addition of gold brass 1st and 3rd slides on the F side rather than the standard yellow brass.
