Stravinsky 'Rite of Spring' Part1 Finale - Bernstein / LSO 1966. This was a TV relay of an LSO concert in 1966.

Have you noticed that the 1st flute in this LSO clip is a young and clean shaven James Galway? This is before he became rich and famous. Did he play sharp then or did that come with the money and fame?

Another great musician in the LSO at that time was Neville Marriner before his mastery of the baton tore him away from life as a second violin player. What a loss to the second violins.
