"Hi there,

I had my horn stolen yesterday and was wondering if you could circulate the information round to other horn players or shops in case it turns up anywhere? My flat was broken into (South East London) and they took the horn amongst other things.

It is an Alexander 1103, lacquered gold brass, detachable bell. It is in a black Paxman backpack case. Serial number 18394.

Thank you for your help,

Ruth Mulvey"

That''s terrible..makes me cringe just to think of it. Must be so horrible to lose an instrument of that quality...being broken into is bad enough.

Yes I spotted it in a shop in South East London and contacted Ruth to let her know. She has as far as I know now been reunited with her stolen horn.
