Over the years I have learned on this forum that:
1. Americans are “equipment obsessed” while Brits are not (from numerous threads)
2. Alexander horns are terrible (in this thread and countless others)
3. We all agree Alan Civil was one of the greatest ever, with a “magnificent” sound (See ‘Alan Civil’s Mouthpiece’ in Horncups Forum)
4. Alan Civil played Alexander horns

One does not need a course in Boolean logic to see something needs to give here. Which will it be?
:?

Surely you can't be suggesting that some people are so lazy that they would rather accept and repeat convenient stereotypes than think for themselves?

It means that something needs to be changed. Probably a derivation of the phrase 'giving in.' I hope 'giving in' is part of the UK vernacular, if not the practice of it.

How did you get on with the Kuhn trial Jeremy?

My W293X plays great with the regular PHC taper 8-)

Its great and I will be buying it in the very near future when I sell mine.

Did you try it with an e-taper too ?

It seems to work perfectly well with my 23 but I have the chance to have to borrow one so I'll keep you posted.

Haven't tried with an e-taper at all.
The standard taper sits at the receiver's design height (17 to 19 mm).
Would be interested to know if it makes a difference though.
